Analytics firm identifies 8 altcoins that investors should keep an eye on this week. Cryptocurrency analysis firm Layergg has announced the altcoins to watch closely this week.
1. Ethena (ENA): Ethena, a new and important project, has earned $8 million in the last seven days, the highest return among major dApps. The project has significantly expanded its Total Addressable Market (TAM) by accepting BTC collateral. However, the project is said to carry risks like Terra (LUNA).
2. Ordi (ORDI): According to the analytics firm, ORDI is considered a key memecoin intermediary showing the effects of the BTC Halving cycle. Franklin Templeton published a report on ORDI on April 4. The coin is scheduled to be listed on Coinbase Futures on April 11 and the Stacks Nakamoto Upgrade will begin on April 16.
3. Fantom (FTM): Fantom could indirectly benefit from Solana’s recent network congestion thanks to the “horizontal scaling” trend, according to the analytics firm. Andre Cronje, founder of Yearn Finance, noted that the Sonic upgrade is still in its infancy and the next target is something bigger.
4. Altlayer (ALT): Altlayer is in an EigenLayer space with a “Restaked Rollup trend” and according to Layergg, an Eigenlayer token creation event could take place in mid-April. ALT stakers are likely to receive EIGEN and XTER airdrops.
5. Dogecoin (DOGE): According to analysts, Dogecoin tends to continue its upward momentum in recent years (2021, 2022, 2023) until the day before Doge Day (April 20).
6. Mantle (MANTLE): Mantle provides high returns to MNT stakers through Ethena/Pendle. A PUFF airdrop was conducted for MNT stakers and the PUFF price reached an all-time high (ATH), attracting individual investors.
7. Ankr (ANKR): Ankr has a combination of AI, dePIN, BTC LST, and RaaS trends, and is showing a trend of ANKR token’s usage being reconsidered due to Neura. An important announcement is expected for the altcoin on April 15 at the “Stability World AI” event.
8. Stargate Finance (STG): According to Layerzero Co-Founder, the launch of Stargate V2 is imminent. It is currently the leading bridge in terms of volume and Daily Active Users (DAU).
