Sam Bankman-Fried Will Make No Claims

Sam Bankman-Fried

Former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) has stated that they will not make any claims after a court hearing. SBF’s lawyers wrote a letter to Judge Lewis Kaplan in the Southern District of New York. In the letter, they stated that they would not make any post-trial claims, but would reserve their right to pursue allegations related to the case.

The uncertainty of future hearings related to the case continues. Prosecutors do not have a clear plan on whether they will continue to the second hearing in March.

It is reported that SBF was taken back to the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center after the announcement of the jury verdict. A person named Borello alleged that there was a prisoner who tried to blackmail the former FTX CEO.

Sam Bankman-Fried could be considered one of two significant business people facing criminal charges in the US. In addition, former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao also had to leave his position after making a deal with the US Justice Department. It is also noted that he is facing a prison sentence.
