Originally set for May 30, Tapswap postponed the airdrop until July 1 owing to an inflow of bots meant to farm airdrop points, according to a previous Decrypt story. The team claimed that it required more time to work on its approach; hence, the token-generating event has now been canceled.

Tapswap did not offer a certain date for the release of its token, TAPS, on The Open Network, or TON. It also omitted particular information about the eligibility criteria for the airdrop.
