Former BitMEX CEO Arthur Hayes, known for his striking statements on Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, has Cardano on his radar this time.
Hayes, who was recently interviewed by the Youtube channel Coin Bureau, likened Cardano (ADA) to “the first Ethereum wannabe”.
Continuing his comments for Cardano, the famous name later described Cardano as a useless cryptocurrency in a post on his X account.
Going even further, Hayes made a shit coin analogy for ADA.
Hayes also pointed out that there are no dApps launched on Cardano to date, heavily used or offering Cardano-based services, and asked ADA supporters whether there is such a Cardano-based dApp.
Hayes, the former CEO of BitMEX, who finally tagged Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson in his post, asked Hoskinson for an answer.
“Which dAPP in this list that I presented to you ADA supporters was originally launched on Cardano? Or are there any dApps that are heavily used or offer Cardano-based services? My knowledge is very limited and in my opinion there are no Cardano based dApps.
So ADA is a shit coin. Mr. Charles Hoskinson, founder of Cardano, enlighten me on this.”
