From Prison To Author? CZ's Book In The Works

Changpeng Zhao (CZ), who formerly served as the CEO of Binance, recently made a post on the social media network X in which he offered the possibility that he would write his own book.

In a playful manner, CZ mentioned that he was going to use the “quiet time” that he would have in the near future to compose something.

Since he would have nothing else to do, the founder of Binance stated that he was going to give his own book a shot.

The month of April saw CZ get a sentence of four months in prison, as reported by U.Today. With his imprisonment, he became the wealthiest person in the history of the United States. The prosecution demanded that the controversial businessman, who was 47 years old at the time, suffer a sentence of three years in prison.

Around the same time that CZ resigned from his position as CEO of Binance in November, he entered a guilty plea to charges of money laundering. Additionally, the cryptocurrency heavyweight has consented to pay a hefty fine of $4.3 billion.

Immediately upon his resignation from his position, CZ also hinted at the existence of a new educational endeavor that will be known as “Giggle Academy.” In addition to teaching them about mathematics and other disciplines, the non-profit enterprise would also teach them about blockchain technology and finance. It would primarily target children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

According to a report by U.Today, CZ has also declared that he will continue to be an investor in cryptocurrencies despite his departure from Binance.

During this time, another discredited founder of bitcoin, Sam Bankman-Fried, has already written a book about himself. “Going Infinite: The Rise and Fall of a New Tycoon” is a book written by Michael Lewis that tells the narrative of the former leader of FTX, who was sentenced to 25 years in prison the previous year. Lewis’s most famous work is the book “The Big Short,” which served as the basis for the critically acclaimed film of the same name.
